There are weddings that feel timeless the moment you step into them and this St. Petersburg celebration was exactly that. Set against the historic charm of the St. Petersburg Woman’s Club, this wedding blended classic architecture, waterfront romance, and refined blue-and-white details into a day that felt effortlessly elegant and deeply personal.

This celebration held special meaning for our team, as Gloria Zak, one of our own, co-owner at Truly Yours Event Planning walked down the aisle to marry Angus Brodie, co-owner of The Set Up Squad. An industry wedding in every sense, the day was a beautiful reflection of community, collaboration, and the deep relationships built within the wedding world.

A Historic Venue with Old-World Charm

The St. Petersburg Woman’s Club offers a rare balance of history and versatility. Its stately façade, warm interiors, and proximity to the water create an atmosphere that feels both grand and welcoming. As daylight faded, the venue transformed into a glowing backdrop perfect for romantic portraits under the palms and an intimate entrance that set the tone for the evening ahead.

A Ceremony Framed by Nature & Love

The waterfront ceremony was a true highlight. A crisp white aisle led guests toward floral columns overflowing with soft white blooms and hints of airy blue, framing Gloria and Angus against the shimmering water. As the sun dipped lower, the ceremony felt warm, emotional, and unforgettable, one of those moments that remind us why we love what we do.

Vision & Design

The design embraced elevated coastal elegance with European-inspired details. Reception tables were dressed in Lamour Azure linens layered with Blue French Toile napkins, styled in a flat fold beneath gold coral chargers. Blue vintage goblets and gold vintage flatware completed the place settings, adding texture and depth to the overall look.

Warm wood chairs added contrast and depth, while soft draping, hanging greenery, and ambient lighting brought movement and intimacy into the room. The sweetheart table dressed in Lamour Azure and framed by abundant florals served as a stunning focal point for the evening.

Even the cake echoed the design: a timeless blue-and-white tiered creation adorned with delicate florals, tying the entire aesthetic together seamlessly.
